Watch Skrillex drop his new Galantis remix at Summer Set
Skrillex used his headlining set at last weekend’s Summer Set as an opportunity to debut an off the cuff remix of Galantis‘ latest hit “No Money.” “I just did this remix on an airplane,” says Skrillex as the track begins around 1:30. “I’m going to test it out right now.”
The track starts with an untainted sample of the original before quickly devolving into a hyper-pitched melange of tweaky vocals and tribal drums. Naturally the producer flexes his signature sound with an unforgiving dubstep outro before heading into even more experimental territory with some choice Weezer.
Galantis’ “No Money” surfaced back in April and marked the pair’s first release of 2016. Dillon Francis has previously provided an official remix.
