deadmau5 teams up with Steve Duda, Tommy Lee and DJ Aero for debut WTF? performance

Deadmau5 is no stranger to teaming up with his friends. From his notorious BSOD project alongside Steve Duda, to his more recent work with Eric Prydz, Joel Zimmerman has a knack for collaborating with his closest companions.

Yesterday, on September 18, deadmau5 linked up with three of his oldest friends — Steve Duda, Tommy Lee and DJ Aero — for a rare performance as WTF?: the foursome’s collaborative project which originally spawned circa 2008. For the first time ever, the four members performed live alongside each other, choosing an unlikely city to do so in: Atlanta.

Footage from the night is now pouring out, depicting the group dropping cerebral house and techno tracks, as well as familiar cuts such as deadmau5’s “Sometimes Things Get Complicated” and the group’s own “Chicken.”
