Illenium’s highly-anticipated Flume remix drops next week
Earlier this year, Illenium enraptured the bass music community with a re-work of The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” — not to mention his debut album, Ashes which arrived in February. When he revealed himself as one of the official remixers for Flume’s sophomore album Skin, hype among fans immediately ensued.
Taking on “Say It” featuring Tove Lo, Illenium’s remix will be released next week on September 6. The Colorado producer has approached the piece with his signature melodic edge, leaving Tove Lo’s vocals as the focal point while switching the melody to a more poignant progression.
