Spotify reveals the biggest songs of the summer

Streaming has become the norm for music consumers, with the various services —and there are new ones popping up all the time — locked in an arms race of fundraising while reaching new milestones seemingly every day. Spotify, which recently passed 100 million monthly users, continues to hold an edge over the competition, having recently released their rankings for top songs of the summer.

Conveniently split into a “Global” and “US” list, both top-10’s show little variance. Drake‘s “One Dance” occupies the top spot on both, followed shortly thereafter by the likes of Rihanna, Desiigner, Sia, and Mike Posner. Carrying the banner for electronic music is Calvin Harris, for his collaboration with Rihanna “This Is What You Came For,” and The Chainsmokers with their hit “Don’t Let Me Down.”
