The Chainsmokers are collaborating with Coldplay’s Chris Martin
The Chainsmokers are coming off of a big summer, having topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “Closer” and performed the platinum hit at the VMAs. Now the pair have previewed a new collaboration in the works that could finish off their year back at the top of the charts. Pulled from their Snapchat story, The Chainsmokers have shared two videos of them working in the studio with Coldplay frontman and vocalist, Chris Martin.
Though Martin isn’t outright mentioned, his voice is unmistakable. With what sounds like a melodic house production backing him up, the track is a surefire crossover anthem in the making. It’s still unclear at this time whether the track will serve as a new Coldplay or Chainsmokers song, as well if any of the other band members have contributed to it.
