Zeds Dead and Diplo share official video for their collaboration ‘Blame’
With a career spanning back to 2009 and near unanimous acclaim throughout, Zeds Dead have impressively managed to make 2016 a banner year. The Canadian duo launched their own label, Deadbeats, and are set to release their debut album Northern Lights.
Diplo was brought on board to assist on the LP’s first single “Blame” — also featuring vocals from the inimitable Elliphant — which has proven to be a smash. Now with Northern Lights set to drop imminently, Zeds Dead have revealed an accompanying music video for “Blame.”
Fans of legendary ’80s cartoons, think GI Joe and Transformers, will feel right at home in is video. That particular style is captured lovingly and, although the track features its subdued moments, it was an inspired choice to use the raucous, chopping drop as the score for an epic animated battle.
