Sleepy Tom – Distant Future (feat. Dirty Radio)

Mad Decent has made an impressive effort to reach outside of its reputation as a party music-oriented label. Many of its recent releases have had deeper appeal than the normal dancefloor concoction, and Sleepy Tom‘s “Distant Future” is another example of that.

Linking with Canadian indie-electro band Dirty Radio, Sleepy Tom lays down some deeper, late-night-drive vibes under smooth R&B-stylized vocals. Sleepy Tom and Dirty Radio waste no time with this single; intros and outros are non-existent on “Distant Future.” The new track comes after an extended absence of fresh Sleepy Tom material, but provides a reassuring sentiment that the songwriter is back with a whole new arsenal of skills to work with.
