French legend Agoria announces new label Sapiens

Legendary French producer Agoria has announced the launch of his new imprint Sapiens, his second label project to date after cofounding Infiné. In addition to releasing music, the new label will also feature work by visual artists, sound designers and film directors. For now, Sapiens will be digital-only, but Agoria has announced plans to release vinyl in the future.

Set to launch November 25, Sapiens will make its debut with a five-track double-EP by Agoria himself titled Up All Night. The compilation features both a radio and extended version of the track, as well as remixes by Eagles & Butterflies and Gerd Janson.

The official label description notes: “Releases could aim to be as diverse as political speeches, radio hits, dancefloor tunes, sensorial or cognitive music or a gentle computer virus. Sapiens will be multiple disciplinary.”
