Australia’s newest festival, Babylon, drops techno-fueled lineup ahead of 2017 debut
What the world probably needs less of right now is music festivals, but considering Australia‘s desolate dance music landscape thanks to government crackdowns, the country’s newest beacon, Babylon, is much welcomed.
The three-day event is set to debut in March 2017 over two weekends in Victoria and New South Wales, and its inaugural lineup is sure to put the Aussie electronic music festival scene back on the map. The finely curated roster includes: Claude VonStroke, Lee Burridge, Danny Daze, Infected Mushroom, Feed Me, Pleasurekraft, Joris Voorn and Magda.
Babylon will take place in Victoria on March 10-13, 2017 at Northern Grampians by the Kara Kara National Park, and in New South Wales on March 10-12 at Capertee Valley. Tickets are now on sale.

“It’s really exciting for us to be able to produce this world class event,” said festival organizer Richie McNiell on the event’s importance to Australian dance music culture. “With Babylon we aim to create something different, but to also set a benchmark for organisation as there has been some disappointed punters with festivals of this kind in the recent past.”
