deadmau5 releases new vocal single ‘Let Go’

With his new album having been anticipated for some time now, deadmau5 revved things even higher by announcing its long-awaited release date of December 2. Entitled W:/2016ALBUM, the LP will provide a fitting cap to a 2016 that has already seen a slew of powerful releases in the dance world.

With W:/2016ALBUM’s release date inching ever nearer, the mau5trap boss has been ramping up his efforts to promote the album. His label’s Facebook page recently posted a nearly 30-second teaser of the producer’s collaboration with Grabbitz entitled “Let Go.” The man in the mouse-head mask had previously confirmed that the track — then known as “Blood for the Bloodgoat” — would be making an appearance on the album. The track is vintage mau5, featuring thudding kicks laying the foundation for swirling synths that morph from smooth to edged while also featuring smooth vocals, portending yet another hit for the Canadian superstar.
