Music Is The Weapon, Major Lazer’s follow-up to Peace Is The Mission, will be hitting shelves in January. Ahead of the release, Diplo has unveiled some exciting developments currently in the works. On January 6, the group’s collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Partynextdoor will be released, he disclosed to Billboard on the AMA red carpet. Another single will also be released prior to the collaboration, though details have yet to be revealed on the new single.

In the meantime, Major Lazer have paired with Protoge to release a festive holiday album titled Merry Christmas Tree, which will be released sometime before Christmas. In addition, Diplo also announced another single with Bad Royale which he previewed in the Beats 1 show where he made the announcement. Listen to the initial Beats 1 announcement below.
