Zhu drops official remix EP for ‘Generationwhy’

Zhu released his official debut album earlier this summer, Generationwhy, introducing the masses to his enigmatic aesthetic. Projecting his captivatingly dark and melancholic vibe, Zhu’s album was profoundly contemplative and impeccably constructed. Following the debut of the record in July, and more recently its backing cinematic feature, Zhu has kept a relatively low profile. Now however he’s back to drop off the first official Generationwhy remixes.

Big Wild, Louis Futon, and Leon Lour are all featured on the new remix package, offering three distinct new takes on the record’s title track, “Generationwhy.” Big Wild offer a delightful indie house piece while London-based producer Leon Lour takes the uplifting progressive house avenue on his remix effort. Louis Futon reworks the tune with a grooving future bass polish, rounding off a handful of fresh new takes on Zhu’s introductory offering.
