Lane 8 releases Winter 2016 mixtape

It’s safe to say that 2016 was nothing short of momentous for Anjunadeep alum Lane 8. After releasing his album Rise the year prior, he launched his This Never Happened imprint and live concept to bring human connection back into dance music. The resulting tour asked revelers to put away their cell phones on the dancefloor and focus on the music itself, earning high acclaim across its inaugural run.

As the year comes to a close, Lane 8 presents followers with yet another edition of his seasonal mixtape series. Winter 2016 Mixtape takes listeners on a three hour journey where Lane 8 combines his own new music with a series of emotive and deep cuts. He ventures into techier, darker zones of deep and progressive house in addition to his usual blissfully melodic offerings, showcasing the direction he’s taken his own music in general as of late.
