Listen to the best End of Year mixes from your favorite DJs

The end of 2016 is upon us, and with it, the arrival of one of our favorite traditions: end of year mixes. There is perhaps no better way to reflect on the year’s top highlights than through the format of a mixtape. Not only do these mixes serve to remind us of the standout tracks from the year, but they inevitably fill in the gaps for all the gems we may have missed.

Fortunately for dance fans in 2016, the amount of end of year mixes that have surfaced thus far is tremendous. Highlights include Joris Voorn’s stunning annual mix, which navigates through 40 tracks in an hour, as well as Solomun’s ‘Christmas in Bed’ mix and Lane 8’s ‘Winter Mixtape.’ The legendary John Digweed has even thrown his hat into the ring, as well as Dutch veteran Laidback Luke who recorded his entire mix live, on camera.
