Moby to play benefit concert for Oakland fire tragedy

Moby has announced that he will be performing at a benefit concert following the tragic warehouse fire earlier this December in Oakland. The fire has launched a criminal investigation and claimed 36 lives, including that of Knife Party‘s visual artist.

The show, to be held across the bay at San Francisco’s Mezzanine, will act as a fundraiser for the Gray Area Foundation, with a $20 minimum donation at the door and a silent auction with proceeds going to the foundation to support those affected by the fire. Its intent is also to allow for the artistic community to come together and mourn for those who perished in the tragedy.

More information is available on the fundraiser’s Facebook page.
