POOLCLVB is a name that has become synonymous with wavy nu-disco basslines and bright summer house. With an ability to pull from the fun-loving spirit of the ’90s and infuse it with modern house production, the Aussie producer has carved his own way into becoming a staple in the scene. While the US is in the middle of winter, POOLCLVB is soaking up the sun down under and has transformed it into his new single “You Give Me Love.”

A real chord-slamming stomper, “You Give Me Love” melds soulful vocals onto a throbbing bassline and bright running synths to emit an undeniably upbeat mood. In addition to the single, POOLCLVB commissioned four up-and-comers — Volkoder, Stace Cadet, TWERL, and Hier — to take his new single for their own spin.

Volkoder and Stace Cadet take the house route as Volkoder uses the original sparingly around a hypnotic drum loop he concocted, while Stace Cadet reimagines POOLCLVB’s single with less emphasis on the vocals and more on the instruments. TWERL’s remix spices things up by reworking “You Give Me Love” into a pulsating future bass heater. Finally, Hier infuses sounds that remind us of ’90s video games to come forth with one of the most unique flips.
