Watch Skrillex officiate a marriage proposal at Your Paradise Festival in Fiji

Dance music couples dream of marriage proposals at beach festivals in Fiji. For one lucky couple, that dream came true this week, and to top it off, Skrillex facilitated the whole moment on stage.

Your Paradise is currently one of the most remotely set and intimately produced festivals in the world, and among the tropical good times at this year’s event, one attendee, Malcom, took the opportunity to ask the apple of his eye, Jess to spend the rest of their lives together (awwww).
Malcom grabs the mic and with Skrillex at his back hushing a lively festival crowd, gets down on one knee and professes his love for his mate to the overture of an a capella version of “Where Are Ü Now.” Then the newly betrothed couple launch into the crowd of an obligatory “we’re getting married!” crowd surf as the beat drops. Moments like these are why we love dance music most.
