German trance duo Cosmic Gate just unveiled the second single off their upcoming album Materia – Chapter.One, slated for a January 20 release. Titled “Halo,” this new piece heightens the suspense behind the outfit’s anticipated return. Fans have already been introduced to the album’s first single, the brooding “Fall Into You,” along with the announcement of the first leg of Cosmic Gate’s North American spring tour.
Consistent with the duo’s illustrious trance roots, “Halo” leads listeners into an otherworldly odyssey of empowering chord progressions and defiant synth sequences, traversing into deep soundscapes with ease. With two tracks now released, excitement builds as the vision behind Cosmic Gate’s seventh album approaches fruition.
