Modestep – Living for the Weekend

“We had a great idea for a song and the only person in the world we wanted to work on it with was Josh.”

London’s own Modestep have established themselves as boundary-breaking pioneers since their 2010 formation. A true electronic band, the four-piece use blistering drum and bass with frantic dub elements to deliver their amphetamine-fueled sound. Their latest release “Living for the Weekend” marks a slight sonic departure for the group, who have spent the past five years on the road. It is also their first time working with Joshua Mellody, AKA Zomboy who lent his talents to the final production of the track. A party-starting bass assault, “Living for the Weekend” exists between larger than life drum and bass and dubstep aggression thanks to Zomboy’s finely-tuned production work.
