Fat Wax has proven one of the underground’s most exciting new imprints. Spearheaded by Swiss duo Fat Sushi, the label now welcomes the excellent Township Rebellion: the German collective causing quite a stir on imprints like Stil vor Talent, Moonbotique, and more.

The lead cut, “Liquid Green,” is a menacing house number with a monstrous bassline and a chunky drum arrangement. The composition pulses forward with a chugging progressive energy, packed full of slippery synths and sawtooth growls.

It’s a potent dancefloor weapon, and a reassurance both of Township Rebellion’s potential and that of burgeoning imprint Fat Wax. “Liquid Green” further arrives with a remix from Fat Sushi themselves.
