Hardwell will perform live at IEM Katowice 2017

Prestigious e-sports tournament Intel Extreme Masters returns to Katowice, Poland for the fifth year running. Featuring three major games, StarCraft 2, League of Legends and CS:GO, Extreme Masters is one of the longest running tournaments of its kind in history. E-sports itself has been gaining popularity in the modern world, morphing from a niche profession to a global phenomenon. The finals of the ELeague CS:GO major, held in January 2017, exceeded 1 million concurrent live viewers on Twitch, a watershed moment for the entire gaming community.

IEM Katowice 2017 has gone one step further in its endeavor to endear professional gaming to the masses, and has managed to recruit global EDM sensation Hardwell, who will be performing live before the CS:GO world championship finals. In addition to this, Hardwell will also be unveiling his new Twitch channel, an exciting prospect for his many fans.

The CS:GO world championships at IEM Katowice 2017 will be held from March 3-5.
