Pioneer introduces new line of lightning-port earbuds, ‘Rayz’

Known for their successful line of audio accessories, Pioneer has announced a new set of innovative earbuds that enables users to charge their iPhone while listening to music at the same time through its integrated charging port. Equipped with Avnera’s LightX technology, the new product – dubbed “Rayz” – will draw the least amount of power possible from the device to which they are connected.

Pioneer’s Rayz boast many other features, including in ear detection that automatically pauses and restarts the user’s music and smart noise cancellation that is controlled through a personalized app which automatically updates itself with the latest software available. With six microphones included, Rayz are able to incorporate sophisticated voice processing for clearer phone calls.

The standard model is available at $99.95 while the Rayz Plus will run for $149.95.
