Seth Troxler to headline MATTE’s new iteration of BLACK in Mexico City
The creative power house behind Full Moon Music Festival and BLACK NYC, MATTE, announced they will bring a new iteration of BLACK to Mexico City in March of 2017. Established in 2013, BLACK is a unique experience that transcends the limits of a single artistic medium. The conceptual event series has previously appeared in New York City, with appearances from Gesaffelstein, Jon Hopkins, Matthew Dear, and Chairlift.
The upcoming edition of BLACK will be held in Mexico City, and features performances by Seth Troxler, Thugfucker, and many others. True to its concept, the escapade goes beyond just musical acts, to further incorporate visual experiences. In former iterations of the event, visual artists Jasper Jest, Nathaniel Brown, Zachary Walker, Cara Stricker, and Toki Series have provided installments.
MATTE has a reputation in the industry as stepping outside the norm to deliver an enigmatic, clandestine experience for all attending, and the forthcoming BLACK Mexico City is poised to continue this tradition.
