Icon Spotlight: February

Icon Collective has solidified its reputation as the premier educational facility for electronic music production on the West Coast. The North Hollywood arts school has become a breeding ground for the next generation of talent, as evidenced by its formidable track record, which includes the likes of Jauz, MAKJ, Slander, SNBRN and more.

To spotlight some of the amazing talent coming out of the school, we’ve teamed up with Icon for a new series highlighting tracks from the past month from both current students and Icon graduates.

2017 is in full swing, and the halls of Icon Collective are as prolific as ever. Penthouse Penthouse — 1/2 of which teaches at the collective — dropped their charming disco edit of Lafa Taylor & Aabo’s “Run To Me,” while fellow Icon instructor Kerry Leva unveiled her emotive deep house single “I Think You Know.”

Icon grad and viral SoundCloud hitmaker PLS&TY debuted his future bass anthem “Good Vibes” featuring Cosmos & Creature while Truth x Lies scored a Tropikult smash with their infectious deep house cut, “City Lights.” Lastly, Ryden continued her streak of emotionally-charged original releases with her anti-love anthem “Murderer.”

Listen to all five tracks below.
