Excision, REZZ and more on Phase 1 of Shambhala’s 20th anniversary lineup
British Columbia’s premier “grassroots” gathering, Shambhala Music Festival, has long lived up to it’s anti-corporate mission, maintaining an ethos that stands as a true reflection of the people. The fact that it has been able to resist two decades of commercial sponsorship, without skimping on massive production and line-up appeal, is no easy feat. If nothing else, it speaks to the organization’s authenticity and communal spirit.
In celebration of this 20-year long feat, Shambhala has blessed attendees of the currently sold-out festival, which runs from August 11, 2017 through August 14, 2017 at Salmo River Ranch, with another impressive line-up of international talent from across the dance music spectrum. Among the acts on this year’s lineup are A-Trak, Excision, Pendulum, Rezz, and more.
Whether it’s gritty electro, tech house, or grimey bass music, artists will be featured over one of six uniquely themed stages – each curated, executed, and dreamt up by their own stage director. View the phase one lineup below, and watch out for the full lineup on April 17.
