Karma Fields brings its live show, ‘The Hex,’ to NYC

Monstercat’s first AI act Karma Fields continues to push to the fold in exploring the convergence between technology and music as a singular entity.

Earlier last year, Karma Fields released its debut album New Age | Dark Age featuring artists like Talib Kweli, Kerli, and Juliette Lewis. The record neared the top of the global dance charts and catalyzed the artist’s esoteric, dark sound. In correlation with the album, the producer slowly teased out an audio-sensory live show titled ‘The Hex’ that brought to focus a large hexagonal structure that projected in-sync mesmeric visuals. Fields first showed off the concept last fall in Los Angeles, where he revealed his full multi-sensory collaboration with visual artist Raven Kwok.

Taking place April 29th in New York City, Karma Fields will be making its east coast debut with the avant-garde audiovisual venture at Webster Hall for its second-ever appearance. Fans have been teased across the city for the past week with scaling projections in high foot traffic, including the underside of the Manhattan Bridge. In a growing world of musical innovators, ‘The Hex’ prevails as an experimental spectacle worth seeing from this rising artist. Fans can RVSP for the free event here.
