London-based beatsmith Jake Alder, has been gaining some traction across the pond through his eclectic originals and remixes. Piggy-backing off his last original “Chasin’ Time,” the UK producer heads in a more soulful direction in his new remix of Italian trio, Sama, and their single “What Love Is All About.” Lacing stirring synths and distinct percussion around the original topline, Alder purposely dampens the build up before re-introducing Sama’s vocal accompanied by flooring synth spurts to amplify the chorus’ affect. Listeners looking for new talent on the come-up will want to give this remix a first listen.
