The Chainsmokers tease ‘Memories…Do Not Open’ with tour video

Tomorrow, April 7, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall will release their debut album, Memories…Do Not Open. Included in the album are hits “Something Just Like This” and “Paris,” which have racked up a combined impressive 4.7 million plays on Spotify. The LP will alse feature 10 additional tracks. Following the release, The Chainsmokers will head out on their arena tour across North America, pitting stops in major cities along the way.

The duo has released a teaser video that hinted at what to expect. Though no official statements have been made regarding the tour format, from the video, we can see a live setup featuring a full drum kit, guitars, sample pads and keyboards. In previous weeks, Considering the tour is the first major one for The Chainsmokers, we are prepared to see them go all out on the audio/visual experience including cryogenics lining the stage, lavish laser light-shows, panel lights and killer sound systems throughout the arenas. Support and openers include, varying by city, Alison Wonderlad, Grandtheft, Gryffin, Illenium, Kyle, k?d, Lost Frequencies, Shaun Frank and Whethan.
