The Upbeats provide an interesting neurofunk remix of Noisia’s ‘Collider’
Noisia’s highly anticipated Outer Edges remix album has finally dropped. The compilation contains remixes from eminent producers such as Camo & Krooked, Bassnectar, and Dyro, among a plethora of other talents.
But perhaps the most daunting project from the entire album was handed to The Upbeat – remixing Noisia’s ground-breaking single “Collider.” The duo has opened up an interesting new dimension to the metal-inspired track, replacing the thumping beat of the track with a more traditional, faster paced tempo. The original chord progressions have been chopped and turned into a makeshift bridge; which effortlessly supplements the pulsating neurofunk bass drop. The Upbeats’ remix of “Collider” is a refreshing take on what is sure to be a future Noisia classic.
