Blasterjaxx – Savage (Original Mix)

Blasterjaxx have been extremely active in 2017, making up for their lack of releases over prior last year and a half. The duo’s XX Files EP was regarded by many as one of the best big room endeavors of the year, and also served as a heartwarming reminder of the talent that helped Blasterjaxx become big room superstars.

Interestingly, the duo is working on a festival edition of XX Files, presumably for the ongoing festival season. The first single from the EP is “Savage,” a song that duly demonstrates the mastery that Blasterjaxx holds over the often stagnant big room genre. The single features the duo’s signature gain-enhanced drum samples and tribal synths, which combine with a monotonic, aggressively bass-heavy drop that completes the its main stage appeal.
