Chance The Rapper forced to cancel European tour dates

Chance The Rapper’s meteoric rise has carried into 2017 without missing a beat, though as arguably the most in-demand rapper in the world at the moment, his schedule is understandably booking up at a staggering rate. On the cusp of his new 43-stop ‘Be Encouraged’ mega tour that launched earlier this week, Chance has been forced to cancel a handful of slated European tour appearances due to circumstances reportedly beyond the rhymer’s control. A statement from Chano’s team reads,

“It is with regret that Chance the Rapper has to cancel his upcoming performance at Way Out West and his European festival tour in August. This is due to scheduling conflicts beyond his control. Chance sends his apologies to his fans and looks forward to returning to Europe soon.”

With headlining performances scattered across some of North America’s biggest festival stages, including Life Is Beautiful, Superfly’s debut Lost Lake Festival, and a hometown hurrah at Lollapalooza, Chance may revisit the European tour circuit in the future with some of the biggest shows of his career already under his belt.
