Com Truise – Isostasy (Original Mix)
Ghostly International‘s very own Com Truise has been steadily ratcheting up the anticipation for his upcoming LP, Iteration. Set to drop June 16, the producer initiated the hype-cycle with the release of the album’s first single “Memory.” Now he’s released Iteration’s second single, the atmospheric “Isostasy.”
A brief, glitchy intro soon gives way to a spacey production, with a soaring synth line that establishes the tone over a rolling, chunky bass line and thudding drums. Producer Seth Haley cleverly juxtaposes the track into two distinct sections: one wide open, blanketed in swirling pads, while the other ups the energy with neon plucks and flourishes. It remains fully within the sound that has established him as producer to watch, while pointing to new themes that will likely be explored further on Iteration.
