Dubfire announces ‘A Decade of Dubfire’ album to celebrate his illustrious career

Ali Shirazinia has irrefutably been a force to be reckoned with in dance music over the past decade. Since his early days of purveying masterful progressive house in Deep Dish with Sharam, the Iranian-American producer has been an inimitable figure in the realms of techno and minimal. For his numerous accomplishments as Dubfire and from behind the helm of his SCI+TEC record label, Shirazinia has much to celebrate from the last ten years.

To commemorate his pivotal, post-Deep Dish era, the artist will be releasing HYBRID: A Decade of Dubfire [2006-2016].  The retrospective album will span a staggering 42 tracks, including original productions remixes, and personalized track-by-track reflections. “It has been a long, strange, wonderful, creative, fulfilling road full of joy, pain and sacrifice,” Dubfire says of the experiences which comprise his forthcoming collection.

Including songs from deep within Shirazina’s vault and stories that range from four-day acid trips at Burning Man to the breakdown of his nine-year relationship, it seems that the forthcoming collection is a comprehensive essential for any Dubfire devotee.
