Canadian Blu J have once again tapped into listeners’ emotive cores with a rhythmic rendition of Shallows’ track, “Matter.” Giving the pop-punk original a futuristic, mid-tempo update, Blu J hit the mark by creating a crisp, melodic remix.
The remix dives back into an 80’s techno feel, channeling a darker sound with the help of some sultry synths, alongside vocals that tie the track together. The mix is the latest edition to Blu J’s ever-growing archive of mellifluous dance music.
