Watch Mura Masa and Tom Tripp cover ‘Passionfruit’ by Drake

Appearing live in session, British producer Mura Masa recently performed a cover of Drake’s “Passionfruit” alongside Tom Tripp on BBC Radio 1.

Despite not taking any major risks during this particular performance, both artists bring the conceptual elements of the original to life through the use of smooth keys and steel drums, in what could be a potential preview for their collaborative track, “helpline,” which will be featured on Mura Masa’s self titled LP next month.

The young producer was later joined in studio by collaborator Charli XCX where the duo performed a killer live take on their recent track “One Night.”
