Lunice delivers stomping remix of Dillon Francis and G-Eazy’s ‘Say Less,’ paired with special announcement video

It’s almost officially Lunice season.

The Montreal-based beat maker reportedly has a new album in the works titled CCCLX (360). As the record’s September 8 release date inches closer, Lunice has begun dropping off a steady stream of exciting holdovers in anticipation of the new project. After teasing the release with a new original piece, “Maserati,” Lunice has followed up with a menacing new remix of Dillon Francis and G-Eazy‘s collaboration “Say Less.”

Treating the tune with a thunderous trap bounce, the Lucky Me producer injects “Say Less” with a thunderous stomp, reminiscent of his TNGHT days. In fact, a new promo video for the inbound album even alludes to the former partnership with Hudson Mohawke momentarily, lending credence to the rumor that the pair might be in the studio together once again after a lengthy hiatus.

In the new video, Lunice, doing his finest Steve Jobs impression, discusses the new record’s concept, touching on the ideas of passion, regeneration, and sensory awareness as the driving creative influences behind CCCLX (360). Packed with cryptic subliminals, the video serves up a healthy dose of hype ahead of Lunice’s (and possibly TNGHT’s) return later this year.
