Moby releases new album in the form of a fake White House press release
Moby isn’t one to shy away from politics. The veteran producer turned down the opportunity to perform at President Trump’s inaugural ball earlier this year. It doesn’t end there either, he’s even claimed to have insider information about the president’s alleged ties with Russia.
Keeping in line with his recent trend of politically-fueled topics, a new website, designed like a White House press document recently surfaced online. The satirical website offers details of Moby’s latest album, MORE FAST SONGS ABOUT THE APOCALYPSE, which he is offering as free download along with These Systems Are Failing.
The faux-briefing is written as fictional spokesperson John Miller. For those unaware, there’s hefty evidence of Donald Trump posing as a spokesperson for himself on numerous occasions dating back to the early 1990’s, often behind the pseudonym John Miller. In terms of political satire, Moby hits the nail on the head with this new freebie.
