Duke Dumont & Gorgon City kicked off summer on a swell note with their single “Real Life,” a future house-tinged record with uplifting piano chords and vocals by Naations that heighten its cheery atmosphere. Naturally, the collaborators have inspired an array of diverse remixers inspired to make “Real Life” into their own.

Mexican duo Tom & Collins enter the remixing ring alongside acts like Dillon Francis and Terrace Dub, standing out with their more subdued approach to the original. Taking the original’s kicks down a notch while upping the tempo and adding in housier percussion samples, the two stumbled upon a working formula that satiates fans and suits club dance-floors.
