Jauz releases Skepta remix, surprise collab with Slushii and Crankdat

Jauz has taken both land and sea by force this week, releasing a series of originals and remixes to celebrate Shark Week.

Earlier in the week, he released a dramatic remix of Lil Uzi Vert‘s “XO TOUR LIF3” and followed it up with a massive remix of a Skrillex and Chase & Status VIP.

If that wasn’t enough to set the boat rocking, the producer has also released a remix of grime rapper Skepta‘s “Man” and a new, vocal version of his recent collaboration with Crankdat featuring a surprise appearance from Slushii.

The Skepta remix is a wonderfully unexpected step for the bass producer into the world of grime. Its high-BPM, grungy vibes and unusual beat signatures sent Jauz fans into a tizzy over this new sound from the producer.

The collaboration with Crankdat and Slushii hit the internet just hours after the Skepta remix. It could not be more different from the former.  Jauz and Crankdat’s “I Hold Still” was initially released without a vocal due to legal issues clearing the track, but they’ve re-released the track with Slushii’s vocals layered over top of the adventurous electro beat.
