BREAKING: Panorama Music Festival cancels several sets after stage floor collapses

New York City’s Panorama Music Festival touched down on Randall’s Island yesterday to kick off the festival’s second iteration with headlining performances from Frank Ocean and Solange.

A festival’s opening day is perhaps the most prone to technical issues, and unfortunately Panorama’s introductory evening was not without such. Festival attendees were evacuated from the event’s Parlor stage last night—an indoor bubble tent—once the stage floor collapsed around 5PM ET during Isaiah Rashad’s set.

The evacuation led to the closure of the stage for the rest of the evening, requiring a cancellation of Cherry Glazerr, Breakbot, and DJ Shadow’s sets.

Panorama has rescheduled Breakbot’s set, moving the French producer to a Saturday time slot, but the festival has yet to disclose whether it will likewise be relocating Cherry Glazerr and DJ Shadow’s sets to elsewhere on the festival’s schedule.
