Unlike Pluto – Let it Bleed (feat. Cristina Gatti)

Earlier this year, we sat down with Armond Arabshahi, the man behind the rising electronic act, Unlike Pluto, where he hit on some of his musical influences growing up, including the magnificent Nina Simone. Arabsahi also touched on how his eccentric listening manifested into the cultivation of passion in his music. It is with that in mind that it comes as no surprise his latest is another incredibly empowering tune.

By enlisting Postmodern Jukebox’s Cristina Gatti who specializes in swing and jazz on “Let It Bleed,” Unlike Pluto gives a nod to his sonically expansive upbringing. Between Gatti’s crooning and Arabshahi’s mellow-yet appropriately funky bass lines, the the final result is a funky track with a dash of class.
