12th Planet – Knight Gloom (Original Mix)

As one of the most well respected and notorious names in dubstep, 12th Planet has garnered a diehard following of bass loving fanatics. Whenever the dubstep king of L.A. laces up his boots in the studio mayhem is sure to ensue.

With his latest track “Knight Gloom,” 12th Planet takes a step back from the heavy riddim tracks that have come to characterize his live performances in lieu of a more synth driven glitch style. Throughout “Knight Gloom,” uplifting synths make way for massive percussion fueled drops reminiscent of the early dubstep tracks that first graced North American shores. Complex and certainly a departure from what can normally be expected from 12th Planet, “Knight Gloom” is the type of track that sounds like a step into the future as well as a blast from the past all at once.
