Electronic Music Awards announce 2017 performers including Autograf, Illenium, Moby, & more

With the unexpected news this April that the first ever Electronic Music Awards were to be rescheduled, the wait is almost officially over.  Taking place Sept. 21, the inaugural awards show, appropriately dubbed the EMAs — co-produced by Paul Oakenfold and entertainment company Hunt & Crest — has, at last, announced its first nine 2017 performers.

The impressive array of acts include new and old electronic mainstays, bringing forth Moby, Orbital, Illenium, Autograf, Goldfish, Kidnap Kid, Floorplan Live, Madeaux, Ramzoid, with more still to come. Additionally, the show is going to be without interruption, meaning there won’t be any acceptance speeches or breaks. The performances will also be non-stop at multiple different areas within the venue.

The inaugural event includes 11 award categories, including “Record of the Year,” “Remix of the Year,” “Festival of the Year,” “Club of the Year,” and “Live Act of the Year.” Nominees include The Chainsmokers, Tycho, Bonobo, REZZ, Mura Masa, Flume, ODESZA, and Eric Prydz.
