Saint WKND delivers on remix of Point Point’s ‘Hands’
Twenty-year-old DJ/producer Saint WKND provides listeners with a splendid remix of Point Point‘s viral track “Hands” featuring Denai Moore. Hailing from Germany, Saint WKND is proving he’s a force to be reckoned with, fusing elements of underground deep/tech house with tropical-infused beats. He kicked off his production career on his remix of Chet Faker‘s “Lover” a few years back, which hit 6 million plays on SoundCloud and sat at No. 1 on Hype Machine. Recently, he’s collaborated with renowned producer MAX and has released a very well-received EP called Golden Youth.
Being featured on Point Point’s official “Hands” remixes EP, Saint WKND gives us a little treat here, putting an explosive spin on the French group’s biggest track to date. He maintains the catchy vocals of the original and kicks it off with some groovy chords on the keyboard, building up to an incredible drop with polyrhythm synths under the original pitch vocals we know and love.
