Yvng Jalapeno might not be the biggest name in trap right now, but the up-and-coming producer has started to make quite a name for himself, gaining recognition from the likes of Getter and Marshmello in the process.

For his latest track, titled “I Don’t Need You,” the versatile artist has teamed up with another a talented young producer in the form of Ian Munro — to intriguing results. Also featuring Cultra, the track draws inspiration from a myriad sources, as the first beat drop features an amusing trap-bass house hybrid sound, while the second fuses traditional trap with Flume-esque drum samples — which gives the track a distinctive personality.

“I Don’t Need You” serves as an indicator of both producers’ skills and indicates they have bright futures ahead. The track is out now on Quality Goods Records.
