Capital Cities – Vowels (Robotaki Remix)

Continuing his hot streak of hits, Robotaki has unleashed a fresh take on Capital Cities‘ “Vowels.”

Last year, after a long period of inactivity, Capital Cities announced new music was in the works, leading to the release of “Vowels” in September 2016. Many soccer and video game enthusiasts may recall the tune from its inclusion in the FIFA 17 soundtrack. One year later, Robotaki’s taken the already-funky track and bolstered it with a grooving bassline and a disco-inspired beat.

“Vowels was one of my favorite records of the summer. My good friend [Hotel Garuda] introduced me to it and I’ve been hooked ever since. When they sent over the accapella I knew I had to bring it back to 2008 and go Blog Haus.”

The producer is currently on tour with Manila Killa, with four dates left in their “I Want You” tour. Next week takes them to Denver and Washington D.C., and the following week takes them to Toronto and Chicago to wrap up the tour.
