iamalex – 1998 w/ Hazy Year

Danish producer iamalex has teamed with Norwegian producer Hazy Year for a smooth house original dubbed “1998.” Released via the international platform The Headroom Collective, the track is another example of the group’s forward thinking approach to intriguing new avenues of house music.

Like most of the tracks put out by The Headroom Collective, “1998” is relies equally on a sample-based approach as it does with clever, subtle sound design tics. It’s a mellow track that is infused with enough energy to get dance floors moving. An undeniable groovy original, “1998” is heavy on grinning vibes and a broad, feel-good appeal.
