The cover art might tip you off: the palm trees tell you what you need to know about this laidback, dancehall inspired gem. Maybe it’s the warm colors or the reggae-infused vocals. Wyclef Jean – “What Happened To Love (N8VBOY Remix)”
This remix by N8VBOY combines a lot of what we love about remix culture in general. Take a quality original and reimagine it into a completely new lane. In this case, it comes in the form of the pitched down vocals of the chorus, combined with the unmistakable voice of Sir Wyclef himself. When it comes time for the drop, things hit in just the right way; it comes in the form of a groove rather than a departure from the rest of the track.
