The Geek x Vrv – Rain

The Parisian production duo known as The Geek x Vrv have been bursting at the seams this year. Having released the invigorating funk single “Our Generation” back in November, which injected hippie era vocals into a structurally vivacious body, the group is back with another single entitled “Rain.”

The track leans more towards future bass than funk this go around but the duo’s production M.O remains consistent. “Rain” is a testament to TGXV’s willingness to experiment with the structurally mercurial; the duo steps out of the box to create trip hop meets future bass meets house and their effort is certainly applauded by their growing fan base.
