Few sets compare to the near six-hour showdown that took place on the final night of Croatia’s Dimensions festival in 2014.
A huge lightning storm broke out as Motor City Drum Ensemble and Floating Points were poised to close out the night. In an effort to combat the uncertainty, the two decided to share the decks on the Eglo stage while the weather permitted.
What followed was over five hours of pure musical joy. It’s an otherworldly venture through the realms of disco, funk, house, soul, acid house, and everything in between, and likely one of the funkiest accidents of all time.
